Certified Infrared Home Inspector

As an InterNACHI® Infrared Certified® Thermography Inspector at Home Vantage LLC, I bring the latest technology to the table.

With my cutting-edge infrared camera, I can uncover hidden issues that aren't easily visible to the naked eye. The camera translates heat signatures into color-coded images, revealing different temperatures and potential problem areas.

Through this advanced process, I can pinpoint sources of energy loss, detect areas with moisture problems, and identify dangerous hot spots in the electrical system. Additionally, I'm able to uncover issues like wood-destroying pests, rodent infestations, and even flue leaks in chimneys that could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.

With my infrared capabilities, I conduct a comprehensive inspection to ensure the safety and efficiency of your property. You can count on me at Home Vantage LLC to keep your home in top-notch condition, ensuring your investment's well-being.

InterNACHI® Infrared Certified® Thermography Inspector

When clients notice water stains on their ceilings, they often turn to me at Home Vantage LLC for investigation, similar to Professional House Inspection and Pre-Purchase Home Inspection services, to find the source of the water. Thermography helps confirm the presence of water, but for precise results, I complement it with a high-quality moisture meter. In the attic above the ceiling, I thoroughly search for signs of roof leaks, HVAC duct condensation, or pipe leaks. While the thermal imaging camera provides valuable indications, it's essential to combine these with other data to pinpoint the source of the problem accurately.

Thermal imaging cameras are fantastic tools, but they aren't magical solutions. Proper usage requires knowledge and training, which I've gained through my InterNACHI® certification. My training in building science, hydrodynamics, and thermodynamics equips me to use the infrared camera effectively. I'm well-versed in the physics of thermal imaging, thermal imaging equipment, building science basics, and thermal imaging applications, supported by practical case histories.

Thermal imaging allows us to detect temperature differences in objects and evaluate building envelopes to identify thermal patterns related to energy loss, latent moisture, electrical issues, or structural details. Owning an infrared camera is one thing but using it professionally requires expertise in operating it correctly and interpreting the images accurately. Just like owning a trowel doesn't make you a mason, owning an infrared camera doesn't make you a thermographer. My knowledge and experience ensure that I use this valuable tool effectively to serve my clients best, ensuring the safety of your property. You can trust that I have the skills and understanding to get the job done right at Home Vantage LLC.
